Representing you on the Modesto Irrigation District Board of Directors has been an honor. I have been proud of the work the board, and I have done safeguarding water resources and enhancing irrigation delivery systems while keeping rates low. Working collaboratively with my fellow trustees, we have accomplished a lot, yet I will always hold the board accountable if policies are not in the best interest of the ratepayer.

When I ran for the board, it was because MID rates doubled in a decade. Since then, we have restored fiscal discipline, even paying our debt. I will continue to fight for you, keeping rates low, taking on Sacramento special interests trying to steal our water, and finding new ways to increase our water storage.
